One to one assessments
All training with CotswoldK9 starts with a full behavioural evaluation. The initial assessment is imperative in order to fully assess the dog, fully understand all behaviours, to set you onto the right path and lay the necessary foundations prior to any further training and/or group work.
Usually lasting around 2-3 hours, we aim to get to the root cause of the external symptoms and rebuild from the ground up. Once the evaluation has been conducted we shall then begin with your individual programme. I’ll demonstrate with your dog (unless it’s counter productive to do so), explain each step and then coach you through the process.
We’ll develop a plan for you to continue at home over the coming weeks until your next session.
Sessions can be conducted at your home or at my training ground, however in my experience it’s always best to start at your home so we can see the whole picture and not just the dog in public.
